Power Take Off is a high‑octane rock band fueled by raw energy, tight musicianship, and a family bond at its core. Led by the father‑son duo Scott and Ayden, the group delivers a sound that’s both timeless and unmistakably their own — a blend of grit, heart, and pure rock‑and‑roll spirit.

The band’s story began in 2019, forged during the isolation of the COVID‑19 pandemic. In the basement studio of their family home, Scott — a fourth‑generation farmer and truck driver with over 35 years in the music industry — teamed up with his 17‑year‑old son Ayden, a prodigious drummer with natural talent and unstoppable drive. What started as a creative outlet quickly evolved into the signature sound that defines Power Take Off today.

Scott, once a drummer and now the band’s charismatic lead vocalist, anchors the group with experience and his magnetic stage presence. Ayden brings youthful fire and precision behind the kit, following in his father’s footsteps while carving out his own identity as one of the band’s most dynamic performers.

The lineup is rounded out by Ethan “Hank” Schluter on guitar, Mike “Cowboy” Delp on guitar, and Jakob “JR” on bass — a tight, versatile crew whose chemistry elevates every show. Together, they’ve taken their electrifying performances across the United States, completing several tours alongside national acts and earning a reputation as a must‑see live band.

Power Take Off’s clever, catchy original music keeps audiences singing along, and their unique ability to switch roles mid‑show — with Scott jumping back on drums and Ayden stepping up to the mic — has become a highlighted moment. Their most recent single, “Dixie Cup,” has surpassed 100,000 streams in just a few months, marking a major milestone in their rapidly growing career. “Dixie Cup”  was produced by Malcolm Springer and recorded at Stoner Creek Studios, owned by Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Get ready for the band’s next single “Cornfields at Midnight” produced by Chuck Alkasian at Pearl Sound Studios in Caton, MI. The single is scheduled for release on August 18th, 2026.
